A summarized report of an intervention held at the 10th international congress of auxology entitled “Human Growth and Sickness and in Health”, organized by the international Association of auxology. The report describes the everyday life of the people living at the Forteto who insert children and adults with disadvantaged family and affective situations into their own family nucleus and into the community. It places emphasis on the practical proposals for working with children whose affective sufference are and can be the cause of blocking their psychological growth. Practical courses/routes are described for preventing these situations from getting worse and for accompanying children and adults in a procedure to recuperate their various situations.
